10% done!  Gotta love it! Race #3 – Run 4 the Rescues

First off, I know I said in my last post that today’s race was going to be for Breathe Deep Busse Woods.  My entry fee stayed with them but I found out that the organization my cousin, Jody Zyck, is a part of was putting on their first 5K, so I decided I wanted to go there and support her.  The organization is called Field of Dreams and the they help to place rescue horses into good homes and situations….

Race #2 – Cantigny 5K Run

So race #2 is in the books.  Beautiful day for a run!  And running on the Cantigny grounds and golf course was awesome!  Being on those grounds reminds me of why I’m doing this and why I’m running for Salute.  There was one vet there with a prosthetic leg.  He didn’t run but did walk the entire course.
